Jump Street

While the Akina's were here Kaulana's brother Kai'he got us tickets to Jump Street. It was such a blast we'll definitely go back. Kala was definitely unsure about it when we got there. He thought it looked fun but he's not much of a risk taker. He got excited about the slides.... eventually. But then we got to the top and he never wanted to do that again. He refused to jump but loved watching his aunts, uncle and mommy. Until the very last fifteen minutes. Of course. Auntie Ku'ulei finally conviced him how fun it was. And of course it was. And he had SUCH A BLAST. Benson on the other hand just loved it the entire time. He just kept crawling across all the trampolines and when he would get to the end he would crawl right back the other direction.

All Kala wanted to do was ride the machines.

Ku'ulei FINALLY convincing Kala. She took him all the way in so he would have to walk across the trampolines to get off. It worked!

Then he ran back and for. Non-stop!

Yay for a mommy picture!

Benson playing with grandma. He couldn't figure out why he couldn't actually touch us through the glass. He kept trying to grab our hands.

Two Boys

Is this heaven mom?

then he got really brave and would climb up the side then slide down. I love it.

Benson at his best.

Akina's in Arizona

The Akina's came to visit us at the beginning of July before our family reunion. We were so glad to get to visit with them. The boys were in heaven.
Kala had to play on Kaulana's ipod while Nehoa was playing on his iphone. He wants to be just like uncle.

We all went to the dollar theater at superstition mall to watch the Croods then Grandma insisted on taking the boys on the carousel.

Benson sure loves Grandpa. His faces are hilarious.

We were so happy to have them and get the opportunity to spend time with them! We had such a fun time and can't wait to play with them again soon.

Summer Fun

This summer we went to summer movies once a week. We only went on friday actually once which is the day we bought our tickets for. We went random days of the week but always had a blast! Needless to say our summer has been unpredictably busy.
Benson has really grown to love playing with Liam, the little boy I've been watching. They sure are buds!
Our PT friends the Workman's had us over for a swim party and a BBQ. The kids always have a blast. The guys actually relax. And the girls love the break. It's so fun. So grateful for such a great bunch to hang out with through school and hopefully the rest of our lives.

bubbles

This boy loves bubbles. He gets so excited.

Science museum

Toward the beginning of the summer my mom took us and some of my nephews and a niece to the Phoenix Science Museum. We loved it so much we ended up getting a year pass.
Benson and Cash eating snacks while everyone else were exploring.

Playing with the blocks in the building area.

My nephew Cade riding a bike on a rope.

The water and balls were definitely the hit of the day. Kala was in heaven.
That night we went to our friends the Tanner's house and played. These kids love each other. It's so good to have such good friends.
